SCCA San Francisco Region for Non-Race Licensed Individuals
September 20-21, 2025 - Thunderhill Raceway
WANT TO DRIVE YOUR CAR ON A REAL RACETRACK!
Go out with a coach in the passenger seat and drive on the Thunderhill Racetrack.
After each on track session we bring you back to the classroom, do a debrief, and talk about the next upcoming on track session. Learn proven techniques of driving. These are the skills that racers have perfected over years. “Eyes Up” “smooth hands and feet”, “breaking” and lots more.
You will leave with a packet of information that supports each of the classroom sessions.
Taught and coached by experienced race car drivers.
The goal is learning and experiencing the on-track feeling, it’s not about speed. SPEED WILL COME! All street cars are welcome; no special equipment is required. SA2020 or newer helmets are required! Rentals are available at the track.
What it takes to do this:
•Have a current Weekend or Full Membership of the SCCA (we can help you get this at the event)
•Your safe streetcar
•A valid driver's license

How to Enter
If you have a MSR account simply hit "Register" below
If you do not already have a MotorsportReg account, please follow the steps below to create your account.
Once you have an account
- Once logged in, click "My Account" in the top right
- Now come back to this page and enter the event and pay online.
- Next time you enter, just log into your account and future entries for SFR events will be quick and painless!
